avono Read Confirmation Plugin for Confluence

How to make sure that your new confluence page will be read by your target audience? This is where the Read Confirmation Plugin comes into play.

Most of the time a wiki tends to grow fast and not (at first) in a very organized way. The positive side of this is that there are lots of valuable information inside your confluence instance. But the downside is obviously that important information may be overlooked by the people who should read it, simply because there is too much activity.

With the Read Confirmation Plugin you can assign confirmation requests to individual users or confluence groups. These users will be notified on the homepage of confluence (wherever you choose to place the Important Information Macro) that there are new pages for them. You can also request the users to acknowledge having read the page. By specifying a deadline to a confirmation request the users who have still not read the page will be notified with an e-mail.
