Inquiry about plug-in PlantUML

Description

Hi, we are using PlantUML plug-in version 7.4. We just upgraded Confluence server version last weekend from 7.4.17-7.19.16. We found that the plug-in Graphviz Diagrams for Confluence cannot be used since we don’t have license. Now the PlantUML macro cannot be used too. I checked there’s no free Graphviz plug-in right now. Is there any other option for us?

Hi Michael, I just upgraded the plug-in from 7.4 to 7.6 and it works well now. Thank you for your support. Please close the ticket.

And if I upgrade the plug-in from 7.4-7.6, will it install Graphviz in process?

Hi Michael, how to check if it’s installed already?

Hello ,

yes you have to install the “graphviz” package but this is not a plugin. This software package must be installed on every Confluence node as system administrator, e.g. for Debian Linux:

or CentOS/RedHat Linux

See the page for more details.

Hi Michael, thank you for your quick response. I checked our plug-in and it seems that we need to install a Graphviz plug-in to use PlantUML. Also I have deactivated the Graphviz Diagram plug-in and I didn’t succeed to create a PlantUML macro.
